Can you tell me which insulation is best to buy?

I’m currently working on a small renovation project where space is extremely limited, especially in certain wall sections and around window areas. I know insulation is important, but I simply don’t have enough room to install thick boards. I’m wondering if using a thinner option would still provide any real benefit, or if it’s not worth it at all. Have you ever worked with very thin insulation before?

Yes, in situations where space is tight, 25mm insulation can actually be very useful. It’s specifically designed for shallow areas where thicker materials wouldn’t fit, and even though it’s thin, it still helps reduce heat transfer and improve overall comfort. I’ve used 25mm insulation as an additional layer in retrofit projects, and it worked well for reducing cold spots and improving thermal performance without requiring major structural changes. It’s also easier to handle and install compared to thicker boards.
