Trial Lesson
Probably
the best way to 'experience' helicopter flight is to do a Trial Lesson. Have
you always wondered what helicopter flight feels like? Are you thinking you'd

Are you afraid of heights or
desperate to overcome your fear of flight? Well, helicopters are perfect
because, firstly, you don't have to go high - just a couple of feet off
the ground until you are comfortable enough to continue; and, secondly,
you don't have to go fast - we can keep absolutely still in the HOVER. We
can even go BACKWARDS!
Also, by
having a go on the controls you'll overcome your concerns by understanding
what's happening and why. Should you feel at all uncomfortable during
your flight, we'll get you straight back down on the ground as soon as you
want to, so you don't have to worry.

Robinson R22
- 2 seats (Pilot + 1)
The helicopter trial lesson can be carried out in
the Robinson R22. This includes a 30-minute one to one pre-flight briefing
on basic helicopter procedures and the use of the aircraft controls.
Once airborne you will be introduced to level flight, turns, power changes
as well as hovering. Flight time will be approximately 30 or 60 mins.

Robinson R44
- 4 seats (Pilot + 3)
Trial Lessons can also be carried out
in 4-seater helicopters and follow the same format as with the 2
seater above, but with the option of having family or friends
sitting in the back during the lesson. Please be aware that
the flight will be a LESSON, so the person sitting in the front
with the pilot will be expected to have a go on the controls.
